Where Does the Conversation Go?

Aug 08, 2026

I've been thinking about what happens after a good conversation ends.

Not the kind where you exchange pleasantries and move on with your day.

The other kind.

The one where someone says something that catches you off guard. Or asks the question you weren't expecting. Or gives language to something you've been carrying around without quite knowing what to call it.

You leave differently.

And then life resumes.

The meeting starts. The email comes in. Someone needs something. Dinner needs making. Tomorrow arrives.

And I've wondered for a long time:

Where does the conversation go?

I became a coach because I believe in what can happen when someone has the space to hear herself think. But somewhere along the way, I became just as interested in what happens when the coach isn't there.

What does she do with the thought three days later?

Where does she put the thing she noticed about herself on a Tuesday morning?

What happens to the promise she made to herself when nobody is there to remind her of it?

I don't think every meaningful moment needs another appointment.

Sometimes it just needs somewhere to live.

That question became Orensa.

I didn't sit down one morning intending to build an app. In fact, if you'd told me a few months ago that I would be spending my summer thinking about rituals, constellations, AI transparency, soundscapes, privacy architecture, and whether one tiny fern was sitting three pixels too far to the left, I would have had questions. 😂

But here we are.

Orensa has become the place between conversations.

A place to arrive. To notice. To write something down before you explain it away. To return to something you said weeks ago and realize you don't quite believe it anymore.

And lately, I've reached that strange point in making something where I know it too well.

I know where everything is supposed to be.

I know what every button does.

I know what I meant.

Which means I am becoming a terrible person to test it.

So I'm wondering whether there are a few women reading these diaries who have been quietly watching this little world take shape and thinking:

I would love to get inside that.

Not because you want early access to another app.

I'm actually much more curious than that.

Why would you want to test Orensa?

What about it makes you curious?

What would you hope to find there?

What would make you want a front-row seat while something like this is still being shaped?

I'm looking for a very small number of women willing to go behind the scenes, use it as it is actually meant to be used, and tell me what I can no longer see because I've been staring at it for too long.

The beautiful parts.

The confusing parts.

The parts you unexpectedly return to.

And, especially, the parts that make you wonder, Why on earth did she do that? 😂

Because that's the part I can't manufacture.

I can build the experience. I can obsess over the details. I can decide how I want something to feel when you arrive.

But I can't experience it for the first time anymore.

You can.

So, if you've been quietly following along and something I've mentioned about Orensa has made you curious, send me a note.

But don't just tell me you want to test it.

Tell me why.

Tell me what you're curious about. Tell me what you hope it might give you that you haven't found somewhere else.

Orensa began with a question, after all.
